Reference Librarian Sara Gras will address the numerous sources for accessing court documents and dockets. Briefs, motions and pleadings can give researchers valuable information about litigation strategies, legal arguments and sources of primary law utilized in similar cases. They can also be useful examples to be used in drafting court documents for those new to the process.
Platforms covered will include WestlawNext, LexisNexis and Bloomberg Law.
The session will be held in Library Room 113M (Ground Mezzanine). Lunch will be provided.
